We went to the park yesterday, and I took some pretty cute pictures of the ducks and geese!

That duck followed the geese the entire time we were there. He was so cute!

This duck followed me around like a dog begging for food.

I decided post a little something sice it has been a long time....
I have been so busy with school since spring break, that I have not had time to do anything else... Yesterday I spent five hours cramming for a Government test that I took this morning, and today I spent five hours studying for a history test that I just took... Now I have to begin writing a paper for psychology, and study for a psyc. test.... Ahh!!! It's never-ending!
Anyway, enough about school!
I already e-mailed some of you about this, but you need an update, and some of you may not know.... Last Thursday a 17 year old girl that we know from San Angelo, was in a diving accident. She broke her neck, and was expected to be paralyzed from the neck down. However, a few days ago, we heard that she had some feeling all the way down to her mid-stomach, and was moving her fingers! On Monday her lung collapsed, and she had a surgery to inflate it. It is still partially collapsed, so please continue to pray for that. Another prayer request that we were given is to pray that her thirst would be quenched. They are not giving her any liquids right now because the swelling needs to go down. They sedated her from Monday until today so that she could get some rest, and hopefully not be so thirsty!
My mom called the church today, and they told her that Alexa broke her 5th vertebra (if she had broken her 2nd, or 1st, she might not be able to move anything) she might actually be able to use the upper part of her body! Please continue to pray for her, and her family!
Have a great day!

Here's a funny story for you...

This morning I woke up to find that my feet had something heavy on them, and (as I became a little more conscious), I realized that they were also wet...
I kept trying to go back to sleep, but the fact that my feet were wet kind of worried me...
I finally sat up to find that the "thing" that was on my feet was my dog (the one that can see), and to explain the wetness, apparently she had too much water last night, and couldn't hold it!
Out of all the places she could have gone, WHY ME!

I hope that you day has gotten off to a better start than mine

Today I was told by a few of you that you actually do read this, so I'm putting you to the test. If you read this, comment! Even if you just say hi. Amy, if you're reading this right now, you really need to get a xanga so that you can comment, and so that we can stay in touch with each other during our busy weeks.

Today has been great!

I went to the BSM for Bible study, which was awesome! The Bible study that we are doing is called "When you don't desire God", and I have learned a lot about where I stand in my relationship with God. If you haven't been able to make it to the study yet, you should come.

This afternoon we had the GA lock-in, which to be honest, I really didn't want to go. I had so many other things to do, but I know that God had other plans.... The director of GA's had asked me to come up with the devotional. Well, last night, I didn't have any idea what I was going to teach about, but the second that I prayed, 4 scriptures came to me.
The title of the study was "Does God Want to Use Me Even Though I'm Young?".
The first scripture that I used was Matthew 19:14, which is where Jesus tells His disciples to let the children come to Him. The second verse was 1 Timothy 4:12, which is "Don't let anyone look down on you...". Then we read the story of David and Goliath, and then I read them Mark 16:15, which is "Go into all the world...", and then I told them the ABC's of becoming a Christian. After that all of the leader's shared verses that have meant something to each of us over the years, and then some of the girls' shared some things that they have been through. It was an awesome Bible study, that God had His hand on the entire time.... As I was writing this, I got a call from Margie (one of the teacher's) and she was calling to tell me that one of the girls wanted to know more about who God was, and she asked Him into her life. WOW! What a cool night!

I'm going to go to bed now.

Good night....

~Kristen~
